Terms of Use — Clan Tree
Terms governing use of the Clan Tree application.
Welcome to Clan Tree by Khoakaka Studio. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and us when you use Clan Tree on Android, iOS or the Web.
By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Clan Tree.
Who can use Clan Tree
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Clan Tree.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for what happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your content
The members, photos, notes and CSV files you add to your clan stay yours. You give us a limited license to host, process and display that content so the app can work for you and the relatives you invite.
Because Clan Tree is about real people, please:
- Only add information about relatives you have a right to share, and
- Honor any request from someone in your clan to correct or remove their information.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Use Clan Tree to break the law or harm someone’s rights.
- Upload illegal, harmful or infringing content.
- Try to disrupt, reverse-engineer or attack the service.
- Use the invite system to send unsolicited messages.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features need a paid subscription. Billing is handled by your platform (Google Play, the App Store or, where available, a web payment provider). Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next renewal in your platform’s account settings. Refunds follow your platform’s policy.
Service availability
We add, change and occasionally remove features. We may also pause the app for maintenance. We do our best to keep Clan Tree available, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service.
Disclaimers
Clan Tree is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that the app will be error-free or that any specific result will happen.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khoakaka Studio isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of Clan Tree.
Ending your use
You can stop using Clan Tree at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to comply with the law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Clan Tree after a change means you accept the new Terms.
